ok.. you can say i m nuts or wad... but! i am really too too too... BORED! So, since feb is coming.. (thought still long.. LOL!), i went to find some info about the following topic, "St Valentine's Day and White Day". I htink some ppl heard about White Day, while others may not. St Valentine's Day and White Day

St. Valentine's Day is celebrated on February 14, and White Day one month later on March 14. It is said that St. Valentine's Day was imported to Japan in 1958 by a Japanese confectionery company. In Japan, it is only the women giving presents - mainly chocolate - to men, but not the other way around. Men are supposed to return the favours received on Valentine's Day one month later on White Day, a Japanese creation. White Day is believed to have been introduced by a marshmallow manufacturing company in the 1960s. The white marshmallows gave the day its name but other kinds of presents such as candy, flowers, etc. have become more popular over the years.

According to our survey, White Day is still less popular than St. Valentine's Day. 67% of the female survey participants indicated that they do celebrate Valentine's Day while only 45% of the men indicated to celebrate White Day. The two events are most popular among participants younger than 20 years with 75% celebrating Valentine's Day and 56% celebrating White Day. Valentine's Day is also more popular among single people than married couples, however, White Day is clearly more popular among married people (51%) than singles (40%). In fact, among married couples, White Day (51.3%) is almost as popular as Valentine's Day (53.9%).

One Litre of Tears / A Diary with Tears

The story contains both love and sadness, while teaching the power of perseverence. Kito Aya (木藤亜也) kept writing in her diary to remember her experiences until she could no longer hold a pen. She simply wished to live until the end of her life, and the purpose of writing in the diary was to remind herself to not give up. She shed tears many times, at the same time encompassed by the rich love and support from her family, friend. Aya felt sorry and at the same time, thankful to the people around helping her in her everyday life. She kept saying “Gomei” (sorry) and “Arigato” (thank you) in this show.

After she was diagnosed with Spinocerebellar Degeneration, she gave up many things which she hold dearly: basketball, her senior who she loved, and many other things. But she wanted to continue studying in her high school and did not wanted to transfer to a special school, even though she felt that she was troubling many people. She said that studying there is the only thing that will keep her alive- she wanted to be with her friends. Studying was the only thing that made her feel she is still “normal”.

So far, the diary of Aya has sold over 18 million copies. The series accurately depicts the pain and hardship she had to endure. I shed many tears watching this drama, and it has made me appreciate and love life. Aya's diary, "1 Liter of Tears" was published after her death, because of its inspiring and courageous message. "Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing." How will her story affect you?

My tears flowed after almost every episode as I questioned myself, “What would I do if I were Aya?” In 1 litre of tears, you see a 15 year old young girl who was able to face her disease bravely, and tried her best to treasure the limited time she has with her friends, family and boyfriend everyday.

“1 Litre of Tears” stood out for a reason: it is not because Aya was upset because of her disease, she was touched by the love and patience she received from the people around her. I was amazed by the braveness with which she chose to live her life, as a strong girl at 15 years old, yet managed to face her cruel fate with a positive outlook, and tried her best to do whatever she could by herself.
To me, this was one of the best doramas of 2005, mainly because the reality of this story has enlightened me. I realized that my life is not that tough compared to those who are suffering from an incurable disease. The power of the love from her family and friends can be felt throughout the story (however cliche this sounds...), and encouraged me to be positive in my life even though there may be many difficulties and problems.

The series is rather short compared to other dramas. It is definitely worth watching and I would recommend it to anyone. The theme song, Only Human, by the Keita Tachibana (K), fits well with the drama and the emotions that the characters go through. This story contains both sadness and love, and I hope you guys will love this drama as much as I did. Overall, it's an incredibly emotional drama series that will definitely touch your heart.

hi everyone.. y i say this gotta be emo... 1stly... anyone heard of this show, One Litre of Tears (一公升的眼淚)? This show, real life story... only managed to watch the last few episodes in SCV. but thxful that i have watched it.

Synopsis
1 Litre of Tears (1リットルの涙, Ichi Rittoru no Namida?) is a Japanese Television drama for Fuji Television, about a girl who was diagnosed with a disease called Spinocerebellar Degeneration when she was 15 years old, and was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 25 years old. Erika Sawajiri played this girl in this drama.

The plot is based on the true story of a Japanese girl named Aya Kito (木藤亜也, July 19, 1962 - May 23, 1988), who had the same disease. She kept writing in her diary to remember her experiences until she could no longer hold a pen. Aya simply wished to live until the end of her life, and the purpose of writing in the diary was to remind herself to not give up. She shed tears many times, at the same time encompassed by the rich love and support from her family and friends. Her diary 1 Litre of Tears was published shortly before her death. It encouraged many people, healthy or diseased, because of its inspiring and courageous messages. As Aya wrote, "Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing."

This is really a very touching real life story. It motivated me alot. Seeing her, fighting so hard to prove she's "alive", her way to live... is really remarkable.. Have a chance, please watch it. From there, i truly believe.. We, the healthy one, the one fighting with all unhappiness, can learn alot from her.

Hello everyone!!

Heh heh.. is already one week after my birthday on 11 December 2006... heheh... =D

On Friday (8/12/06)
P.A.D.E asked me out.. and i have no choice but to reject the date with my klas gals... (sorry babes... =x)
we went to Taka there to have our dinner in Jade Crystal... haha... meal is not bad eh... jus that i bit "piggy".. didnt managed to eat very full... (opps!! =x hehe) later on, we went to heavenly heaven to relax and chill... and over dere... appeared my 1st cake... hehe.. and the presents too... they took the time to prepare when i go toilet lo.. somemore played the Birthday song in the hall lo.. made me so paiseh... * blushed blushed* really love them so much...

On Sunday (10/12/06)
Hehe.. morning as usual.. went to help out at dar's daddy shop.. everything were so normal lo... den dada at nite come my house lo.. heheh.. we watched the 【红星大奖】.. hehe.. nic nice wor.. den later on have match ... den i ask dar stay back watch lo.. dar looked so tired.. den he said wan go downstair buy coffee to saty awake.. den i agreed.. den i went to pack my stuff lo... den he came back sweating lo.. and a CAKE for me... hehe... dear him so much... !!! muackz!!! he told me he went ard the area nearby to find where got cake for me... den he managed to buy a Pola Choco Swiss Cake for me... i liked it so much... its his sincere that matters lo.. realli so thankful to him lo... (THANK YOU DARLING!!!!) HEhehe

On Monday (11/12/06)
on the actual day, me met up with darling at kallang mrt... hehe.. met up at the last last cabin of the train lo... ahha.. =x we took train all the way to Yishun to eat my Fave... TEPPAN YAki..!! HAhaha.. so nice to eat wor.. yummy!!!! HEhehe... den later on we went to buy movie tix... "Happy Feet"... Tell you.. the show super cute andd nice lo... HEahhaha... actually we vv long nvr watch movie le... we alwaes no $$ de.. all thanks to my stomach -.-' ... hehehe... dar realli dotes on me alot lo.. HEhaha.. den we went home ard 11++... den he satyed back at my hse again lo... jus to pei me... ehhehe..love him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAha.. okoko.. me current location is at.. Expo.. IBM Building II...

Know wad.. Yesterday.. IBM Buidling I got ppl jumped off the building lo... scareded... heard the pax jumped off the building at ard 9++.. luckily i nvr see.. if not i tell u .. me.. stunned.. den faint.. booo...

So... i say... working in IBM... so stressed de... "IBM SO STRESSED!!!"
Den i say to my other NYP frenz.. " in IBM ar.. when ppl stress.. they either... get pregnant (for women) or they jump off building.. BUt many prefer to get pregnant.. so that explains y so many pregnant mummy-to-be in IBM... " Lol.. so... a phrase goes like this (invented by me)... 'in IBM.. you either start a new life... or you end your own life when face stress...'

hello everyone... so sorry thta i havent been updating my blog since ard... 2 weeks ago...?? I suppose too.. been rather lay everyday afte all those travelling to Expo.. haiz.. just to update eh... i have been attached to Changi Industrial Park... (somewhere near Expo MRT station) and everyday.. i will have to travel all the way to Expo... 1st 2 days were horrid... My laptop weighs so tons heavy lo.. and have to travel to and fro Toa Payoh and Expo.. -.-'' However, nw i have place to put my laptop.. which is Mao's Locker.. Haha.. thx fer him.. heavy load for everyday lighten down.. hehe..

More to update.. the week b4 our att week, which is on 24/10/06 Friday nite... went out with class.. most of us went to have dinner in AMK PizzaHut.. Lol.. made so much noise dat the staff have to tell us to lower down our vol... LOL..!! mORE CRYING ANd eMo.. huggies and kisses fer all 0409 gals.. (except fer bethia.. who is so far away from us..=[ )

After which, we then go boat quay party world to have hell with drinking and singing.. Haha.. later at nite, Junwei gF.. Shan Shan joined us.. Wah.. goodie Ger Neh.. Haha.. having lotsa fun and drinking. Heheh.. and later ard 3++ am... we all went to take taxi hm...

Friday: we went out again.. after the work.. Lol.. we went to meet up with the rest at Orchard.. went to eat YoShiNoya.. Lol.. haha.. den later Ray's gF.. Diana joined us too.. =) after little walking ard.. dunno wad to do.. me Yixiang Shanny and her bF went to Cineleisure... Play Pool... Haha.. Others went play LAN games.. lol.. later den they came to join us in the poo game.. we played ard quite late.. ard 1++... den mao snet me yuxian nana and wei qiang hm.. while others took taxi hm..

thusday: i went back to IBM office in the morning.. managed to finish keying al the server models data.. and went to have lunch with mao rod shufen.. be4 going back to NYP.. In NYP.. i me up with Mr Law to discuss the problems that i have while doing the project.. Ater which, i went to find Lay and Yx in their lab.. stayed awhile.. with them.. they seemed so biz.. the thing they do.. so Wah.. i dun understand.. Hehe.. later on went hm early.. Haha.. when lying on bed.. is jus 6p sharp.. thinking.." hehe.. they just finished work eh.. Lol!!" im so bad!!! Lol..

one day out in NIPPON PAINT shop

ehehe... now currently in my daRLing's Daddy shop... which sells paints and chemicals for painting or construction works... hhe... learnt things here... been coming for a few times.. erm... about.. 3 times?? Lol... sort of bored when no customer comes.. and also... HAVE TO fight with dar for the laptop... HUMPH!!... hehe.. but still... loVES him MOSt!!! jus finished serving an Ang Mo couple.. ehe... me served them personally... and also received payment from them... HEHE..~~ (Dun say i act cute hor.. toopid darling..)... =P... sorr of went through my friendster frenz list yesterday... realized most of my frenz... turned... PRETTY!!!.. hehe... happy for them too... but when come to think of myself... (haiz).. beta dun say.. =( so long nvr see my "lamkolim"... >.< missed them eh... (HEY ...!! u 3 out there... can u feel my lonliness w/o u all??!!) -.- hope to have a gathering with them soon... me now.. last year in NYP... currently studying my last semster... having quite a hard time in sch... cuz too bored...
